 local beaches are just 5 mins away and renowned for the fishing, crabbing and prawning. 
Midge Point boasts its own Point Tavern, general store, post office, real estate office and caravan park.  Central to the township is Stan Camm park with children’s playground and bbqs where the Midge Point local markets are held.  The local residents support and operate the Midge Point Rural Fire Service, SES and Progress Association.  The town is located only 20 minutes drive from the Whitsunday Coast Airport.  Proserpine is 25 minutes drive and Airlie Beach is approximately 40 minutes.   NBN is available in the area.
